Sealing / Excluding Court Docs. in Indiana: New Admin. Rule 9(G)

Administrative Rule 9(G) underwent substantial revision in 2014. Changes to the rule take effect on January 1, 2015. Join Maggie Smith (Frost Brown Todd), a member of the Supreme Court Rules Committee that drafted the amendments, as she walks you through the key information. Of particular interest is the procedure for excluding information from public access once determination has been made that information is, in fact, eligible for exclusion.

Another key item is the issue of providing public access to court records that are currently excluded from public access. Maggie will also discuss some of the logistical elements, such as the green paper requirements. Don’t miss this important update!
