ICLEF Elects 2012-2014 Executive Committee, New Board Member

During the ICLEF October Board of Directors meeting, Indianapolis attorney Alan M. Hux became ICLEF’s new President. Hux succeeds attorney Mark W. McNeely of Shelbyville who presided as ICLEF’s President from 2010-2012.

Hux has served on the ICLEF Board since 2008. During that time, he has held committee positions with ICLEF’s Budget/Fiscal Committee, By-Laws Committee, Nominating Committee and the Executive Committee.

Hux is a partner of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP and focuses his practice on corporate and real property matters in Taft’s Indianapolis office. He will serve as ICLEF President through 2014.

ICLEF’s 2012-2014 Executive Committee also includes newly elected Executive Committee members Marsha Volk Bugalla, attorney Frost Brown Todd LLC in Indianapolis, serving as Vice President; Crown Point attorney John M. “Jack” O’Drobinak serving as Secretary; and Fort Wayne attorney Jeffrey P. Smith, Hawk Haynie Kammeyer & Chickedantz, LLP, serving as Treasurer.

Returning to ICLEF’s Board of Directors is Muncie attorney Robert C. Beasley. In addition to serving as General Counsel and Director of Business Affairs for Paws Incorporated, home to Garfield the cat, Beasley also has a private practice in Muncie. Beasley previously served on the ICLEF Board of Directors from 1989 to 1995 where he chaired ICLEF’s Strategic Planning Committee. His current term on the ICLEF board runs through 2014.
