Planning & Zoning

This year our program will feel like to two programs in one as our morning will be an update on current issues and cases with the afternoon dedicated to Mixed Use Developments and PUD’s.

First, Evansville attorney’s Les Shively and Krista Lockyear will provide a traditional summary of significant cases but will also include a breakdown of a couple of the more significant cases for our discussion. Then, panelist Robert Eherenman, Patrick Hess and John Molitor will review and examination of the impact of 1311 has had since its enactment last year. Finally, Paul Reis will lead our ethics discussion and, as he did last year, provide another list of “hypotheticals” for everyone to analyze and discuss, providing valuable perspectives and practical advice.

Then our afternoon is dedicated exclusively to an in depth discussion of Mixed Use Developments and PUD’s. In addition to your strong input from our attorney panelists, our panel will consist of representatives from some of the significant players involved in mixed use development projects that have proven successful throughout Indiana.
